Kells Family Resource Centre is a community-based family support centre, partially funded by Tusla, providing a safe and supportive home for families.
Parent Support Network
The Parent Support Network is a welcoming and supportive space for parents and guardians of children with additional needs to come together, share experiences, and connect with others who understand the unique challenges and rewards of their journey.
Whether you are seeking practical advice, information about available supports, or simply an opportunity to meet and chat with other parents in a relaxed environment, you are warmly invited to join us.

Venue: Kells Family Resource Centre
This launch event forms part of Family Carers Week and will provide an opportunity for parents to meet, share their experiences, and help shape the future direction of the group.
Following the launch, the Parent Support Network will meet on the fourth Monday of each month.
The group aims to provide:

Peer support and shared understanding

Opportunities to exchange information, ideas, and resources

A welcoming and non-judgemental environment

A space shaped by the needs and interests of parents
We encourage participants to bring along their ideas and suggestions to help create a group that best supports local families.

Separating Well for Children Service
Separating Well for Children Service (SWCS) at Kells Family Resource Centre (Kells FRC) is a new programme for separated parents. Whether you are just starting on your separation journey or have been separated for quite some time, SWCS can support you in developing a shared parenting plan that focuses on the best outcomes for children.
The aim of SWCS is to,

support parents to focus on their children’s needs, to ensure the best possible outcomes post separation

improve family communications and reduce parental/family conflict

support parents on their shared parenting journey

Support parents to look after their holistic self-care needs
-
reduce time spent in family law courts
